Serves 5
750 gr Lamb (Cut into cubes)
2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp saltPepper
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp cinnamon, 2 cardamom pods, 3 peppercorns, 2 cloves 3 dry chillies
Method
1. Wash and drain lamb, add salt,pepper.
2. Heat oil, add cinnamon, cardamom, peppercorns and cloves.
3. Add garlic and the dry chilies, as garlic changes colour add the marinated lamb.
4. Lower the heat, let the lamb simmer in the spices after 10 mins add 2 cups of water.
5. Close lid tightly, and simmer till lamb is tender.
Serve with hot rice with onion rings
